Biggest Disappointment: Offensive struggles
In years past, if there was one thing that the New York Knicks were going to be good at it was going to be offense. Although, with the change to the triangle offense, that simply hasn’t been the case this season.
In the past, the Knicks were only bad on defense. Now, they’re bad on both offense and defense. The team is dead-last in the NBA in points per game and shoots 44 percent from the field, which is in the bottom third of the NBA.
Even Carmelo Anthony is struggling on offense, averaging only 21 points per game. Last season, he averaged nearly 28 per contest.
