Biggest Disappointment: Defense?
If the Phoenix Suns wanted to be a playoff team this season, they knew that their defense from a year ago was going to have to improve.
So far, that hasn’t been the case. In fact, they’ve gotten just a bit worse.
The Suns are 26th ranked in the NBA in points allowed per game, and are in the middle of the pack in opponents field goal percentage.
The Suns offense is top-5, but with a lower tier defense, this team is not even going to sniff the playoffs. Not in the Western Conference.
