Biggest Disappointment: Defense
Everyone on the Cavaliers, with an objective mindset, could’ve seen that this was going to take some time to work. Offensively, that’s usually always the case when integrating two huge pieces to the table. Defensively, though, that isn’t always the case.
And the fact that the Cavaliers don’t play defense, should be the greatest of worries for Cleveland fans. Not that they look lost, at times, on offense.
Defense is intended to be a team’s anchor. That hasn’t been the case in Cleveland.
If the Cavs want to legitimately contend for an NBA title, they’re going to need to change that.
