Resolution: Find a consistent bench scorer
The only thing that could keep the Blazers from a deep playoff run this season could be their lack of a true bench scorer. While Chris Kaman is averaging nearly 10 points per game off the bench, he’s not a player that you really want to rely on once the calendar turns to April and May.
Off the bench, other than Kaman, the next highest scorer for the Blazers is C.J. McCollum. He’s only averaging 5.3 points per game. The Blazers need to address that issue before they head into the playoffs. I’m not sure if that’s going to be via trade or not, but don’t be surprised either way.
