Oklahoma City Thunder

Record: 25-24

First Half Highlight: The few games that Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have played together

Analysis: Kevin Durant has not played more than 12 games consecutively this season. Yes, it’s been that type of year for the Oklahoma City Thunder. It just hasn’t come together, health wise, so far this season.

While Durant has been  and inout of the lineup for the most part, Russell Westbrook has been doing his best to keep his Thunder afloat. And a little past the midpoint of the season, the Thunder are currently sitting in the 10th slot in the Western Conference standings, behind both the Pelicans and Suns.

Even though it’s easy to assume that the Thunder will recover and that eventually Durant will get healthy, this is the first time in a long time that we simply can’t pencil in the Thunder for the playoffs.

There’s legitimate concern surrounding this team right now. So far, this season has gone nothing like we all expected.
