Portland Trail Blazers

Record: 34-16

First Half Highlight: Damian Lillard comeback vs Oklahoma City

Analysis: The Portland Trail Blazers were the first team to 30 wins this season. They raced off to a 30-8 record, everything was looking great for this team.

Shortly after that, though, they hit a rough patch, losing eight of their last 12 contests. LaMarcus Aldridge was believed to be out for the season with torn ligaments in his thumb, then he wasn’t.

It’s been kind of a weird season for this team. Then again, they are in the Western Conference, so a stretch like that isn’t entirely unbelievable. It’s just weird how a team can go from playing so well collectively, to looking like just another pedestrian team in the conference.
