First Half Highlight: About that…
Analysis: I honestly fought my way away from giving the Brooklyn Nets a failing grade. The fact that they reportedly want it known that Deron Williams, Brook Lopez and Joe Johnson are on the trade block, but fail to pull the trade when a nice offer was brought up is pretty ridiculous.
Although, since the NBA trade deadline has come and gone yet, I can’t give them an F. Not yet. However, if the Nets fail to move any of their big roster pieces when trade offers have been made, then we will fail the Nets. For the time being, though, I have to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Nevertheless, even though the Nets won’t be failing on this occasion, it’s not like they are passing with flying colors either.
The Nets aren’t currently in playoff position, they’re nine games under .500 and have had to battle injuries to Deron Williams and to Brook Lopez so far this season. That isn’t ideal.
