Atlanta Hawks (42-10)

In a battle of the two of the NBA’s best, the Atlanta Hawks took care of business against the Golden State Warriors a few nights ago. In a playoff environment (from every indication) the Hawks proved to, not only themselves, that they had enough to hand with the class of the NBA. And then some.

Atlanta’s hot shooting was too much for the Warriors to handle at Phillips Arena. Although, it wasn’t the final score that revealed the most, it was how the Hawks played throughout the game that told the bigger story.

However, losing to the Memphis Grizzlies two days later was kind of anticlimactic.

This team can hang. They’re for real. And if you didn’t think that before, you have to admit that now.
