The NBA All-Star break is finally here. The first half of the NBA season, unofficially, has passed. As most NBA teams get roughly a week, or more, off to prepare for the upcoming stretch run, it’s the perfect time to sit back and really look at what has happened in the first 50 or some games of the season.
LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are finally beginning to click, the Atlanta Hawks have been the talk of the NBA, the Golden State Warriors were on pace to win 70 games and the Knicks and Lakers are still bad.
Much has happened through the first three and a half months of the season, and plenty still needs to take place in the final three months of the NBA season.
The playoffs is two months away and the NBA Finals is in the near distance.
Before we buckle in and gear up for the latter portion of the season, we need to reflect on what has happened so far this season.
