29. team. 93. <p>If you’re into incremental improvements from young NBA teams, this Philadelphia 76ers team is beginning to showcase just that. The Sixers this season — you may want to sit down for this one — are 12th in the NBA in defensive rating.</p> <p>Even though they’re dead-last in the league in offensive rating, that defensive rating mark has to count as something, right? Like Brett Brown and the Sixers may be on to something.</p> <p>They’re one of the better defensive teams in the NBA, even with players that probably won’t even be on this team next season. Philly’s most valuable assets aren’t even active this season.</p> <p>Not sure if this will eventually translate to anything soon, but it’s definitely a good sign in the right direction.</p>. (12-41).
