Thunder get: Enes Kanter, Steve Novak, Kyle Singler, D.J. Augustin

Grade: A+

Jazz get: Kendrick PerkinsGrant Jerrett, draft rights to Tibor Pleiss, a protected future first-rounder from the Thunder, Pistons second-round pick

Grade: B-

Pistons get: Reggie Jackson

Grade: B+

In a deal that involved two players that wanted out, the Oklahoma City Thunder acquired Enes Kanter, a big that they desperately needed, and the Detroit Pistons got Reggie Jackson from the Thunder. Slowly, but surely, Stan Van Gundy is righting all the wrong that the Pistons have done over the last few seasons. First, by cutting Josh Smith and, now, by potentially planning for the departure of Brandon Jennings.

Although, if the Pistons fail to re-sign Jackson, I’m not sure what the point of this trade was? I guess it’s a nice roll the dice move, I suppose.

I L-O-V-E this trade for the Thunder, though. They traded Jackson and Perkins, two players that were leaving after the season anyways, for three, or even four, potential rotation players. The best thing about this trade for OKC is that they’re now prepared for a first series with either Golden State or Memphis.

Trade Winner: OKC.
