Charlotte might’ve picked up the biggest scoring threat at the NBA trade deadline, when they acquired Mo Williams from the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s already began to pay dividends for the team, when he dropped 24 points and 12 assists on 50 percent shooting from three-point range in his Hornets debut.

Out of all the teams that are currently vying for the seventh and eighth spots in the Eastern Conference playoffs, the Hornets might’ve improved the most. It would’ve been the Miami Heat, but the unfortunate loss of Chris Bosh all but eliminated that — and potentially them.
