The Memphis Grizzlies will get bounced in the first round

For the first three quarters of this season, I was driving the Memphis Grizzlies bandwagon. I had the hat and the t-shirt.

Somehow, over the last couple months, I’ve misplaced said memorabilia. And fell off the wagon. Injuries have hurt the Grizzlies and I’m not so confident in my NBA Finals pick at the NBA all-star break, which had the Grizzlies beating the Cavaliers in a seven game series.

I’m not even sure the Grizzlies will make it out of the first round. After falling all the way down to the fifth seed, the Grizzlies have to play the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round.

The Blazers are athletic and fast — everything that would hypothetically frustrate the Grizzlies in a seven game series, especially if they’re not fully healthy.
