Kyrie Irving‘s aggressive spots
It’s easy to see that Kyrie Irving isn’t 100 percent healthy. In fact, he’s probably closer to 50 percent than he is to 100 percent. Nevertheless, he did do his job in Game 5. Unlike in Games 3 and 4, Irving managed to pick his spots more efficiently.
And even helped ice the game with two huge free throws late in the fourth quarter.
Irving finished with 25 points on 9-16 shooting from the field, including 3-6 from 3. Side note: Irving continues to shoot 50 percent from 3 in this series.
I’m not sure if he’s getting healthier, but he did a great job of picking his spots, which mostly came early in the game. Irving really slowed down in the second half and often looked less impactful on the move, but his presence was definitely felt in Game 5. Something that can’t be said in games 3 and 4.
