Emmanuel Mudiay
School: China
Position: Point Guard
Size: 6-5, 200 lbs
Projection: Top-5
Emmanuel Mudiay definitely has potential, though, it’s tough to gauge a player who has spent his post-high school career in China. Of course Mudiay looked good — at times — in China. So did Michael Beasley.
Nevertheless, Mudiay is going to be a top-5 pick in this year’s NBA draft. The last time we saw Mudiay, he was an above-the-rim guard with limited point guard instincts. He has an inconsistent jump shot, which could be said for a lot of prospects, but his athletic ability alone and potential should be enough for NBA teams to flaunt to him.
Mudiay isn’t going to be a player that will impact immediately, but could be the next John Wall in four years.
