2015 NBA Draft: Top 10 Prospects With The Most Bust Potential

5 of 11

Kristaps Porzingis

School: Latvia

Position: PF

Size: 7-0, 220 lbs

Projection: Top-12

The beauty of Porzingis is the fact that he has the size and skill set to play multiple positions in the NBA. For now, he’d much rather play around the perimeter. He’s raw on the offensive end, but thrives on the fastbreak and has learned to take advantage of his size and quickness while playing off the ball.

Porzingis isn’t going to beat anyone in this draft in a strength competition, but will beat them cutting to the basket or by meeting them at the rim. He has the potential to be a great weak side defender, but leaves much to be desired when it comes to overall strength and can’t really guard your traditional power forwards.

He has potential and the size to be a really impactful player in the NBA, but he’s definitely going to be a work in progress. He’s not ready to contribute to an NBA team right now.
