2015 NBA Draft: Top 10 Prospects With The Most Bust Potential

6 of 11

Apr 6, 2015; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Wisconsin Badgers forward Frank Kaminsky (44) drives against Duke Blue Devils center Jahlil Okafor (15) in the second half in the 2015 NCAA Men

Frank Kaminsky

School: Wisconsin

Position: PF/C

Size: 7-0, 240 lbs

Projection: Top-15

Frank Kaminsky, the NCAA’s National Player of the Year, had an amazing season — and career — at the University of Wisconsin. No one is denying that. Although, the jump from playing in the NCAA to the NBA isn’t an easy one, especially for a player whose game is probably better suited for the college ranks.

Kaminsky can shoot, has solid foot work in the post and can finish at the rim. Though, he lacks NBA speed, athleticism and quickness. And I’m not sure — as fundamentally solid as he is — if he’ll be able to overcome that.

On the surface, Kaminsky looks like he could find a role as a backup center or power forward in the NBA, but I don’t think he should be a lottery pick. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see him out of the league in five years.

Next: Myles Turner
