Containing Steph Curry
You can’t entirely stop him, especially considering the Rockets don’t have an elite one-on-one defender, but you can at least try to contain Stephen Curry. And that’s something the Rockets failed at horrendously during Game 1.
Curry finished with 34 points, including shooting 6 for 11 from 3 — and many of those attempts were of the wide open assortment.
If the Rockets are going to let Curry run wild and drop 30 points whenever he so chooses — and that might not even be up to Houston to decide — then this is going to be a very short series.
