The Miami Heat will trade Mario Chalmers, Chris Anderson, or both
In an effort to keep Dwyane Wade, and to lower its tax bill next season, the Miami Heat could do some good by trading Mario Chalmers, Chris Andersen or, ideally, both on NBA Draft night. It’s also the perfect time to get a deal like that done. Mostly, because the Heat would be able to get a cheap asset in exchange, such as a second round pick(s) or the rights to a players that will play overseas for a while.
Ironically, the perfect spot for both Chalmers and Andersen is probably on the Cleveland Cavaliers. And the Cavs do have an expiring contract they could spit back (Brendan Haywood). Unfortunately, I highly doubt that Pat Riley would agree to any deal involving the Cavaliers, which is a shame.
It might be difficult to dump both Chalmers and Andersen on draft night, but if it’s happening at all expect it to come Thursday.
