Kristaps Porzingis will not be taken in the top-5
After weeks and weeks of hearing everyone — NBA scouts, GMs and even talking heads on TV — talk up Kristaps Porzingis as the next big thing from overseas, I believe we’ll see the Latvian big man taken a little later than many perceive him to be taken — out of the top-5.
It’s safe to say that everyone got caught — at least to some extent — into the Porzingis hype a little too much. He’s one of the biggest boom or bust players in this draft and I believe NBA GMs will begin to realize that as the NBA Draft draws closer.
Porzingis might end up being one of the better players to come out of this draft, he just won’t be drafted in the top-5.
