They only have four players on contract and only two of them were key contributors from a year ago (Dirk Nowitzki and Chandler Parsons). The Mavs couldn’t have gone wrong with any pick here and Justin Anderson is a safe pick.</p> <p>Anderson should translate into a nice 3-and-D player in the NBA sooner rather than later. I figured they’d take a guard at this spot, but going with Anderson isn’t bad, either.</p>. SF
