LeBron James isn’t going to let the discussions between Tristan Thompson and the Cleveland Cavaliers get interesting. Thompson is going to get paid — and a great amount of money. He’s LeBron’s boy and is under his agency. Part of LeBron not opting in to the final year of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers is to ensure that the Cavs re-sign the guys he wants re-signed.
One of those players happens to be Thompson. To be fair, it’s also not like Thompson would be stealing money from the Cavs. He’s an elite rebounder and better-than-average around the basket on the offensive end.
Where he signs: Cleveland Cavaliers
