Danny Green should be very appreciative of what the San Antonio Spurs did for his career over the last handful of seasons. Likewise, the Spurs should thank Green for his defense and huge baskets in the playoffs during that same span.
But it’s time for them to part ways. Green and the Spurs had a great few years together, but it’s time for Green to get his and go secure his payday. I don’t expect him to return to the Spurs, especially if they plan on realistically pursuing LaMarcus Aldridge this summer.
