Potential Landing Spots: Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks

Monta Ellis helped rebuild some of his on-court reputation during his last two years in a Dallas Mavericks uniform, but I’m still not entirely sure it’s completely rebuilt. He’s viewed as a scorer and strictly a scorer. Luckily for him, that’s exactly what the Indiana Pacers could use — off the bench or even as a starting role at the two-guard position.

The ultimate question is going to be what Ellis will be looking for in terms of a contract. Will he be looking for a raise or a simple multi-year deal? That could prove to be a huge factor in where he ultimately lands this summer.

Where he signs: Indiana Pacers
