Thaddeus Young

Contract: 4-years, $50 million

Even though Thaddeus Young didn’t put up career numbers after being traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Brooklyn Nets, re-signing Young was a move that was more of a necessity if nothing else for the Nets.

They needed continuity that didn’t come from Joe Johnson or Deron Williams. Young isn’t necessarily old and is probably in his “prime.” The thought is that he’s bound to improve at some point before regressing. And, at this point for their franchise, the Nets will gladly take that exchange.

Verdict: Just About Right
