Wesley Matthews

Contract: 4-years, $57 million

If Wesley Matthews had just finished the season healthy, this contract would look a whole lot better than it actually does now. Because I really don’t know what to expect from a wing player coming off the most devastating injury in professional basketball, I’m going to have my doubts about this contract.

Matthews is a really good player — he does it all. He’s a good three-point shooter, a glue-guy on the defensive end and is a great locker room guy. Problem is, we just have no earthy idea to how he’s going to look coming off a torn Achilles.

Verdict: Overpaid
