San Antonio Spurs
2014-15 Record: 55-27
2015-16 Projected Wins: 55-60
If adding LaMarcus Aldridge alone wasn’t a great move for the San Antonio Spurs this summer, they made sure they had a successful summer by also adding David West and Ray McCallum as encore acquisitions.
The San Antonio Spurs are going to be in contention as one of the NBA’s deepest teams in the league, and are going to win a lot of games in both the regular season and in the playoffs. Heck, Gregg Popovich might even be able to get away with only playing Tim Duncan 40 games this season. Yes, they’re that deep.
Think of it this way, the San Antonio Spurs will be trotting out a starting lineup of Tony Parker, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Tim Duncan on a nightly basis. That’s NBA 2k-ish.
