8. Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets
2014-2015 Stats: 17.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks
Unlike Tyson Chandler, Brook Lopez made this list because of his shooting, not dunking. Lopez shot 51.3 percent from the field, but only four percent of his shot attempts were dunks. Lopez’s average shot came from 8.4 feet away from the basket, where he thrived. His mid-range game makes him one of the most versatile centers in the league. He shot 45.8 percent from between 3 and 10 feet from the rim, and 47 percent from 10-16 feet.
Lopez is a bright spot for the otherwise dull Nets. His face-up game has improved tremendously since entering the league, as well as his defense. Lopez is becoming increasingly more comfortable with the ball outside of the paint, and as long as he stays healthy the Nets could definitely make a run…just kidding, we’ll see you guys in the lottery.
