2014-15 Stats: 11.9 points, 4.0 rebounds
The Clippers have been what they are for the last couple of seasons. With Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan running things, they’ve been a top-4 team in the Western Conference. They were so close to the Western Conference Finals this past season, that one player could’ve been the difference.
Adding Paul Pierce in the offseason, as good as he was for the Washington Wizards in the playoffs this past year, could be the guy that catapults this team to the next level – perhaps onto the same level as the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs.
Los Angeles needed a bench, which they didn’t have last year, and now they have one. Led by Pierce, along with Lance Stephenson and Josh Smith, the Clippers have an opportunity to have a very special season.
