2014-15 Stats: 10.1 points, 3.6 assists

Even though most of the eyes will be on Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns or even Ricky Rubio in Minnesota, I believe that the development of Zach LaVine this season could go a long way for the Wolves.

Wiggins will develop nicely, as will Towns and Rubio, but if LaVine can turn into a real player in the NBA, the Wolves could get competitive a lot quicker than many anticipate. While playing time could be scarce for the second-year guard, he needs to take advantage of every minute he receives this season.

Even if we may not realize it now, LaVine is important to this team’s development this season.
