Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors

2014-15 Stats: 17.8 points, 6.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds

While all the pressure will be on DeMar DeRozan this season, considering that he can opt out of the final year of his contract after this season, the Raptors will only go as far as Kyle Lowry can take them. And the fact that it appears that he’s dropped some significant weight this summer, should only help him during the latter portion of the season – aka the playoffs.

But there’s no question that the Raptors missed an impactful Lowry in the playoffs, and a lot more, as they were swept with little resistance by the Washington Wizards.

Lowry is the straw that stirs the Raptors, and they desperately missed him in the playoffs, where he averaged only 12 points on 31 percent shooting from the field.
