2014-15 Stats: N/A

If NBA Summer League was any indication of what we’re going to see from Emmanuel Mudiay this season, the Denver Nuggets should be fine. They better hope.

After trading Ty Lawson, and rightfully so, the Nuggets desperately need something good from Mudiay, who now apparently will have the keys to the franchise. Denver is hoping that simply filling Mudiay into the Lawson role will be enough to field a competitive team.

The only problem with that train of thought is that it kind of didn’t work with Lawson, so the Nuggets better hope they get a better outcome with Mudiay.
