Nobody noticed because Denver was such a mess to end last season, but Danilo Gallinari came back from injury issues with a vengeance. He finished his last 15 games of the season averaging 20.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 steals.

Look for new Nuggets head coach Michael Malone to find a way to make Gallinari a focal point of Denver’s offense this season.
Speaking of Malone, the cupboard isn’t completely bare in Denver as he has Kenneth Farried (a year removed from a standout showing on the national team), Jusuf Nurkic, Emmanuel Mudiay, Wilson Chandler, Gary Harris and Gallinari to form a solid young core.
There’s a lot of interesting young pieces in Denver, and Gallinari is one of the biggest “stars” on the roster.
