Question: Will the DeMarre Carroll acquisition help the Raptors reach the top three in the East?

Will he log any major minutes as a small ball four? 

The Raptors big free agent splash this summer was adding Carroll, though I don’t think anyone believes that he’s the difference between the Raptors being swept in the first round – at the hands of the Washington Wizards – to making a deep-er playoff run.

If one thing’s for sure, though, it’s that he isn’t going to be the reason the Raptors DON’T make a deep playoff run. Carroll will fill his role, they now don’t need to worry about that.
