Question: How many bottles of Aleve will Doc Rivers go through this season dealing with Lance Stephenson’s and Josh Smith’s decision making?

Is there a more diabolical duo in the NBA? This team could be the most entertaining team outside of the box score, rivaled only by my beloved Kings. The raging personalities on this team will be fun to watch.

  • But seriously, can Doc Rivers, like Frank Vogel, get the best out of Lance Stephenson and, along with Paul Pierce, finally have that wing presence the Clippers lacked last season? The wings, on both sides of the ball, were the Clippers’ biggest weakness last season.

Assuming last season in Charlotte was a fluke, Stephenson, to the plain eye, looks to be an upgrade to Matt Barnes. Paul Pierce, with only four words–”That’s why I’m here!!”–proved last season for the Wizards that he still has it. Now in a comfortable position in his hometown, playing for the man who coached him to a ring in Boston, Pierce is in the perfect place for himself at this point of his career.

Will those off the court factors play into Pierce’s on court performance? We shall see.
