19. Detroit Pistons

Starting Five: Reggie Jackson, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Stanley Johnson, Marcus Morris, Andre Drummond

Starting Five Rating: 17

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Pistons make the playoffs just as I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the lottery again. This team has a plethora of talent, but also has no signs of it actually putting it together this season.

Apart from Andre Drummond, there’s not much else on this team that screams “close to a finished product.” And even Drummond is still scratching the surface of his true potential, but it’s close enough where he’s at least in the conversation for making an all-star team.

This team is going to be interesting. I still don’t know if they’re going to be any good.
