Starting Five: Isaiah Canaan, Nik Stauskas, Jerami Grant, Nerlens Noel, Jahlil Okafor

Starting Five Rating: 13

Which should come as a shock to no one, the Sixers were revealed to have the worst starting five in the NBA. Interestingly, they didn’t finished dead-last. They finished tied with the Boston Celtics as the team with the worst Starting Five Rating (13).

Assuming that Tony Wroten won’t be healthy for game 1 of the regular season, who suffered a torn ACL injury in January, starting Canaan at point guard should be unacceptable for the Sixers. That needs to change. Also, the progression of both Noel and Okafor in the frontcourt will be a huge determining factor in how this season will turn out for the Sixers.

On paper, though, it doesn’t look too promising – again – for Philly fans.
