3. Los Angeles Clippers

Starting Five: Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, Paul Pierce, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan

Starting Five Rating: 22

The Clippers went from having one of the most disappointing offseasons in NBA history to having one of the best. All thanks to the indecision of DeAndre Jordan.

Nevertheless, now that all the dust has settled, the Clippers return the majority of their roster, and add Paul Pierce and Lance Stephenson.

Even though the latter is more of a roll of the dice, the thinking is that the former will pay dividends from opening night and, ultimately, into the playoffs. On paper, I’m not sure this team has any weaknesses in their starting five.
