27. Indiana Pacers

Starting Five: George Hill, Monta Ellis, Paul George, Jordan Hill, Ian Mahinmi

Starting Five Rating: 14

In perhaps the biggest surprise thus far, the Indiana Pacers, who are two years removed from making it to the Eastern Conference Finals, have the fourth-worst starting lineup on paper. Considering they lost David West and Roy Hibbert this past offseason, I suppose it’s the biggest reason why they took this much of a fall.

Also, the fact that we have no idea if Paul George will ever return back to his budding superstar ways in the NBA hurt this team in this ranking.

The Pacers have too many “what ifs” on paper in order to have them any higher in this ranking. I mean, would anyone really be surprised if this team was right back in the lottery again next summer?
