Trade No. 1
Masai Ujiri and the Toronto Raptors have had an outstanding offseason. They have made acquisitions with defense in mind (DeMarre Carroll) veteran leadership (Luis Scola), or simply locking in their future (Jonas Valanciunas extension). One issue that has not been addressed is why Ross is still on the team. His PER and Win Shares/48 minutes ranked 10th and 12th, respectively, on the ENTIRE 15-man roster.
On the flip side, he’s only 23, already has a 50+ point game on his resume, and does not have any significant health issues. Raptor fans have been itching to see him leave and this trade may be the right solution.

As a former GM for the Nuggets, Ujiri swings a deal with Denver and brings the long-coveted Faried to Toronto. For Denver, Ross fills a hole at starting SG, where the oft-injured Wilson Chandler can share duties. Patterson, and his 122.1 ORtg (ranked 7th in the league), would be a welcome addition to a Nuggets squad that was ranked 19th in Offensive Rating.
For Toronto, Faried would bolster a Carroll-Valanciunas front line, and help immensely to a squad that ranked 26th in rebounding last season. Foye provides the bench scoring that was lost with the departure of last year’s 6th Man of the Year, Lou Williams.
