Julius Randle, Los Angeles Lakers
Even though Julius Randle didn’t play last season, I decided to add him to this list simply based off the fact that he was highly projected coming out of college. He missed last season, after playing in only one game, and will be expected to produce right away for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Along with D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson, Randle is expected to be a big part of the Lakers’ future. If Los Angeles is going to make any noise this season, he’s going to have to be a big factor at some point this year.
Even he knows that, and is very optimistic about his potential to be impactful initially. Randle says he believes he could “absolutely” average a double-double this season. And it’s going to be interesting to watch him develop into that type of player this year.
