Chris Bosh, Miami Heat
After what started as a great season for Chris Bosh, it ended as nightmare-ish.
Bosh began the season at an all-star pace. Even though he did finish with a stat line of 21 points and seven rebounds per game, you have to believe those numbers could’ve even been better, as he was fighting through blood clots on his lung for what he revealed was close to (at least) the last few weeks that he played. He was shutdown for the season in an attempt to get his health back on track.
Now healthy, and recharged, Bosh looks to help lead the Miami Heat back to the NBA playoffs. Flanked by an also healthy – and rested – Dwyane Wade, with the additions of Justise Winslow, Amar’e Stoudemire and Gerald Green, the Heat could be one of the most intriguing teams to watch this season. And Bosh will be a big part of their success.
Plus, it should also be mentioned that Goran Dragic, who the Heat acquired at last year’s NBA Trade Deadline, has not played with Bosh yet. We really have no idea how good this team can be this season – and that’s a good thing.
