7. Toronto Raptors
Christina: Although they have set franchise records in wins the past two seasons, they’ve been plagued with first round playoff exits. During the off-season, they managed to add DeMarre Carrol and Cory Joseph, but lost Lou Williams, Greivis Vasquez, Tyler Hansbrough, and Amir Johnson. I’ve always thought the Raptors lacked an identity about themselves, and they still have holes in their roster.
The Eastern Conference has made improvements, so don’t expect them to be a four seed like they were last year, but they have enough to at least make the playoffs.
Michael: (Milwaukee Bucks) As much as I love the Milwaukee Bucks roster, I don’t like their point guard situation. If they had retained Brandon Knight last season, instead of trading him (essentially) for Michael Carter-Williams, I probably would’ve liked this Bucks team a whole lot more. However, that simply isn’t the case. I like the Bucks as the 7th seed this year.
