With the start of the NBA regular season less than a week away, two of our writers breakdown the Western Conference and make some playoff predictions

The NBA season finally tips off in less than a week. Training camps and pre-season will soon be in the backburners and we will soon be arguing about way-too-early MVP picks, and whether or not LeBron James will finally bring an NBA Championship to Cleveland, amongst other things.

Specifically, in the Western Conference, we shouldn’t be short of storylines.

Deeming Drake’s “Back to Back” for the Golden State Warriors would be appropriate this season, but the Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Rockets might have something to say in the Western Conference before we crown the Warriors as repeat champs.

Let’s take a look at our Western Conference playoff predictions for this upcoming season.
