The Jazz will make their return to the playoffs
It’s been too long. The Utah Jazz haven’t made the playoffs since the 2011-12 season. And even then, it was arguable if they even showed up – they were swept by the San Antonio Spurs.
With a new core in place, led by Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert, the Jazz are ready to pick up where they left off during the second half of last season and make a run to the postseason. Led by their strong defense, Utah should be in contention for one of the bottom two playoff seeds in the Western Conference.
Sure, the loss of Dante Exum will hurt the Jazz to a certain extent this season, but they should have enough with Trey Burke and Raul Neto, who some have pegged as the best point guard on the roster.
