NBA Power Rankings: Let’s Not Forget About The San Antonio Spurs

Gerald Green, after his bizarre episode from a couple weeks ago, is now back with the team (after a two game suspension) and the Heat look to put that situation in the past. Despite all those positives, there’s one thing that happened this week that tells me this Miami Heat team is different. They won a game without Dwyane Wade. They do not do that, over a good team, last season.

Miami Heat (6-3)

Last week: 2-0
Last rank: 13

The Miami Heat are on a three-game winning streak and appear to be finally clicking. Eric Spoelstra seems to have found a rotation that works and with four more games at home before the Heat have to hit the road again, don’t be surprised if the Heat add a few more wins to the win column before they are dealt with another loss.
