1. Stephen Curry

Stats: 32.4 points, 5.8 assists, 35.1 PER

Stephen Curry continues to dominate the NBA like only Stephen Curry can. He’s still averaging over 30 points per game on a career-high 53 percent from the field and 47 percent from three-point range. He’s averaging five MADE three-point attempts per game and is making playing in the NBA seem easy.

His Golden State Warriors are 23-0, which is the NBA record for the best start to a season, and don’t look like they’re slowing down anytime soon. Curry is playing like the best player in the world, and there’s really no evidence that would suggest otherwise.

Curry has the target on his back on every single night, and he continues to deliver. He – and the Warriors – can be as cocky as they’d like to be and there’s not a damn thing that another team in the NBA can do about it.

The Warriors don’t even have a coach – yea, I’m not counting you Luke Walton. AND THEY HAVEN’T MISSED A BEAT. Curry is a big part of that. He’s the hands down NBA MVP through the first quarter of the season.
