8. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Brooklyn Nets*

Stats: 5.2 points, 6.1 rebounds

We’ll start off by saying that it’s really unfortunate that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is expected to miss about two months due to injury (ankle). He was really coming on for the Nets as of late, but couldn’t keep him off this list. Hollis-Jefferson was averaging only 5.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, but can also really make his presence felt on the defensive end.

Before his injury, we saw the Nets slowly begin to trust RHJ a bit more with every passing game. His injury comes at an unfortunate time, but he could return just before the NBA All-Star break and finish his rookie season strong.

Still can’t believe the Portland Trail Blazers traded Hollis-Jefferson on draft night.
