The Wizards Are Broken

Remember that team that nearly beat the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals? They’re no where to be seen through 20-plus games of the 2015-16 regular season. John Wall has started this season in a bit of a rut – though, he’s recently played better as of late – and the Wizards overall look a step slow.

Plus, Bradley Beal can’t stay healthy. Stop me if you’ve heard this song before.

Overall, the Wizards are 10-13 and would not qualify for the playoffs if the season ended today. They’re a mess and can’t seem to string together wins this season, something that had complicated things in the past.

The Wizards are playing so badly right now that they have a minus 4.2 net rating. That’s the stuff of non-playoff teams. If something doesn’t change awfully quickly for this team, especially in an improved (we think) Eastern Conference, this team could find themselves out of the playoffs this season.

That can’t bode well for them in their pursuit for Kevin Durant.
