Miami Heat
Wish: Three-Point shooting
Ray Allen, who retired after the Big Three in Miami broke up – thanks again, LeBron – would actually be great on this Heat team. Unfortunately for them, there’s no shot that Allen is walking through that door again. And Miami hasn’t filled the void that he left as the team’s three-point specialist since he retired.
This year’s Heat team does have some special in it – it just lacks, and very much so, a three-point threat. Their best outside shooters are their big men – Chris Bosh and Josh McRoberts – when Gerald Green isn’t on a hot streak. That isn’t good. If they can’t snag a shooter before the NBA Trade Deadline, or during February free agency, when players are bought out or return from overseas, this Miami team has no chance at contending in the Eastern Conference.
Zero.
